Can't tell. Can't rely on the official sources anymore (RE: Sehwag case), and each time Yuvraj plays, Dhoni plays him as a full-fledged spinner. That's injury-trigger.Yuvraj hasn't recovered yet?

There's 2 games though. With the Challenger series going on just now would it be too much for one of those teams to play a game against England?I'm guessing a BP XI
What a joke, England should just jump on the next plane home.
Nah, you can't make the use of HotSpot a deal breaker when it comes to DRS and make it mandatory then 3 months later decide that you don't like it and refuse to use it.Disagree with you there GF. We should get the bare minimum of the review system there as a base, then later we can talk about which bits of tech we can agree on. A lot of shockers can be overturned just with the replay.
He's still the best T20 bowler in India. An average of 20, with that return, and close to forty wickets in little time, striking under 16, is really good. With Irfan injured, RP out of form and barely fit, Nehra out of action, Zaheer injured, Munaf not fit, he should be an automatic selection for all T20Is. Compare Aravind's T20 figures with those of pace hopefuls Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron, or even Praveen Kumar, and it should convince anyone.4-0-69-0 from Aarvind.
That's reassuring.
You can't draw anything from that. It's a very difficult match for the bowlers, and on the flat KSCA deck, we've even seen Dirk Nannes, a top-notch T20 bowler, get clouted.I looked that up, it was the second-worst return ever in a T20. Not much you can draw from figures on a day like that though.
Has Aravind gone on any India A tours?
The BCCI and ICC have confirmed the DRS will not be in use for the upcoming one-day international series and one-off Twenty20 international between India and England. Warren Brennan, the chief executive of BBG Sports, the company behind Hot Spot, had told ESPNcricinfo on October 5 that they would not be making the technology available for the series. Since Hot Spot was made one of the minimum requirements for the DRS during the ICC's annual conference in June, the ICC has said there will be no reviews for the India-England series.
Brennan admitted BBG Sports was disappointed with Hot Spot's performance during India's tour of England and said he believed "it did not have BCCI's support" for the technology following that series. "Following the comments by Mr Srinivasan on September 20 in relation to Hot Spot and the DRS process, BBG Sports believed it did not have the support of the BCCI and promptly decided not to bring the Hot Spot to India for their upcoming home series," he said in an email to ESPNcricinfo. Srinivasan, the new BCCI president, had criticised Hot Spot after the board's annual general meeting in Mumbai.
Since the DRS will not be in use, the ICC do not require an umpire from their elite panel to be third umpire. Hence they have said Simon Taufel will not be required to officiate in the matches and Billy Bowden will be the only umpire from the elite panel to stand in the series.
Rubbish. HotSpot and all the other associated technologies are there to aid the umpires. Most of the time, HotSpot gives very definitive answers. There is no clear evidence that hot spot is anymore accurate than a regular television replay. The same can be said about snicko. The reality is that we've seen multiple occasions when they have both proven to be inaccurate and clouded decisions. AFAIC, theres never been any reason to go beyond the the television replay, everything else is just complete guesswork. At best, there is a case for Hawkeye but that is pretty much it.
Does it? As far as I can remember in the England-India series it seemed like HotSpot was particularly vulnerable when it came to faint edges. Seems to me that thats the only reason it is there in the first place. Thick edges are almost always identified with the benefit of a replay and stump microphone. I simply dont think its the end of the world if HotSpot or Snicko werent used because I dont think either of them to be particularly valuable.Rubbish.
