Who will score the next triple

I think a Kiwi has a chance against Zimbos - but I would like to see us get our first triple against a top 8 team. Either of our openers could do it - especially McCullum if he bats aggressively.

One or two triples looming on the mother of all flat tracks. My money is on Sanga and Mahela. If Dilshan opens, might go after bowling to a huge score. There were signs of ut when he was running away with the game in Lords, until he got one on the thumb and cracked it.

Not sure this counts as a prediction... closest anyone came to calling it, though.
Loses out for saying Clarke moving to 4 is one reason he's likely to make the triple IMO.

Wondering if there may be one on in the next couple of months in Dubai.

In the upcoming UAE tour, there is quite a big possibility of a triple century, despite the strength of each bowling attack. From a Pakistani point of view, there are two real contenders IMO: Younis and Hafeez. I'm not sure that Khan can do it again, but if he's on song, I wouldn't be surprised. Hafeez has been playing very well lately, and, assuming he strikes quickly, he could potentially occupy the crease long enough. Any of the English batsman, I believe, obviously excluding the third-class batsman in Broad, Bresnan and Swann, can score a triple, although they'll be struggling against a quality spin attack.

If not this tour, India has (reportedly, haven't checked) 2 years of home matches.

Cook would surely be the favourite from the Englishmen - opening and has the key attribute that separates triples from doubles: insane concentration.

KP is possible but Bell I'd say is nigh on impossible on the basis that he's batting at #5 and has a excellent top four above him. KP also quite unlikely for a similar reason.
