He was on here always banging on about IPL players being injured.

Except he was glad about it
Nah!! He was talking about players being injured who didn't tour the Windies tbf.:p

And was expressing joy about them being injured, and along with that wishing injuries on them(explicitly or implicitly).

Yes you're right sorry. I think he was saying certain players who preferred IPL over that tour.

Quite right.

How has that gone for six? I thought that went in front of him.

Edit: And brilliant next ball. Ravi's been slowly transforming during this series, but the annoying thing is you know he'll revert to low-on-confidence scratchy batsman at some point.

Ravi and Jonny are killing them! Bopara is looking nailed on for the number 5/6 spot in the ODI team and being Test back-up or number 6! Good lad!

While Bairstow will now go as back-up keeper for the Test side and CK's place is seriously under threat, with KP back up to opening with Cookie!

Taff luck for India!

Carnage! Even as a lover of the proper form of cricket, this display by Bopara and lil Bairstow is superb to watch. Such level-headed types and with such a knowledge of when and where to play. They deserve to win it and they will.

We don't like Dhoni's edges. How about Cook's, Trott's and Bopara's?
Reckon you'd be perfectly within your rights to bemoan Ravi's innings like I did Dhoni's. Way of the game, no-one's claiming only one side can do it.

Edit: The attitude you should take is pure awe at this debut from Bluey though.
