I wouldn't say there's a bowler in cricket today bar Malinga that could bowl at the death to Raina and Dhoni in a 100+ partnership. You either find a way through their suspect techniques early or pay a heavy price for it later.

I know, it's something that pisses me off no end, in all one-day cricket. In the old days when wickets came into the equation if it was a tie, I suppose you may have had reason to not go for it, but now there really is no excuse.

Yeah there's a lot of truth in that, but it's not like they were just hammering good death bowling over the ropes here; there was some seriously poor bowling amongst that onslaught.

Yeah right, forget the fact that one of them has been batting like for 2 hours, and have executed one of the best batting finishes but yeah criticise for not taking a ****ing second run.

IMO this was moreso England paying the price for failing to have a slip when Dhoni nicked Finn past the keeper early on than England paying the price for poor death bowling.

Dhoni didn't face Finn till the end. Neither did him or Raina give any chances.
