Finn is making Rahane, a supposedly technically correct batsman, crap his pants and resort to wild swishes and heaves.

Rahane against Finn in the next Test series in England will end in tears for Rahane. Looks absolutely all over the shop against world class pace bowling.

Not seen an England bowler touch 94mph since Harmison at his absolute pomp back in 2004ish. Finn could well reach 97mph in a year or 2!

And with his accuracy, we could have Glenn McGrath at 97mph!

FFS Rahane this is not a T20
I think he recognised that India were a bit behind the rate. This is a really good batting pitch as far as ODIs in England are concerned so he couldn't plod along striking at 50 forever, particularly with wickets in hand and Dravid in next. Some pretty weird shots from a man with a pretty good technique but I think the intent was necessary at this point, even if not the agricultural nature of it.

Finn against Sehwag in the next test series in India though with Finn bowling one dimensional length and ball coming on could end up in tears for Finn.

I don't really agree; I don't think he'd play remotely the same. He's playing like this because the run rate is frustrating him IMO; not because he doesn't back his technique to survive against good bowling.

When has Sehwag ever faced a 6'7, 94mph bowler who can move it both ways off the seam?

And in all honesty, Finn is still our 5th choice quick in Test cricket. So won't be playing in India, unless there is an injury!

Finn could have got Rahane 5 or 6 times in this innings and but for Kieswetter being the keeper, he'd have had him out on about 10!

Rahane plays all around a straight ball from 6'4, 88mph Stuart Broad!

Doubt Finn will be in the Test team for the next trip to India
Doubt Rahane will be the same batsman in tests after 3/4 years even if he makes the next series to England.:p

Was just responding in kind anyway and partially kidding.

Finn is only young. His accuracy will come. He is a line and length bowler a la McGrath.

Pidge used to do his business at 80-85mph. Maybe Finn can do the same but at 90-97mph!?

And Random Patel as usual throws it away after a start.

Bowling short finally pays off and Broad picking up wickets that Finn deserved really!!
