I'm not sure it's a case of 'picking and choosing when to chuck' as having the problem when you bowl an effort ball. I think they're both as bad as each other to be honest. If you chuck it you chuck it. Whether it's 2 balls in 50 or all the time. The latter would probably be harder to fix though. From what I've heard that Mekiff was not a "habitual chucker" apparently. He had a fine action in most of the deliveries compared to a certain Ruchira Perea whose every ball was a chuck. Mekiff selected few special moments to chuck it seems. And I am quite sure Mekiff is not the only one who do it in international cricket. Habitual chucker is far more "innocent" than bowler who pick and choose when to chuck.
Absolutely. For some reason it sounds like you're telling him off when he's pretty much agreeing with all you said....
Yeah I am. Which is why I couldn't understand what the problem was. I was starting to get a complex thinking what I thought I wrote and what I actually wrote must have been two different things. I never said anything about not accepting the ruling when a player has been scientifically tested...as much as Murali supporters seems to get annoyed when his name is bought up in these threads, there also seems to be a certain acquired reading problem that coincides with 'Murali' being written in any post.
