Jarvis' been impressive. Saw him also against the Bangers and was pleased. Good run-up, gets close to the stumps with an oomph-matic high arm action and clamps down on the seam well. Nothing too much wrong there at all!
Although Vitori's not done well in this match (at least, not on paper) he is a fine young prospect. Streak should bring the best out of these two guys.

Well done Pakistan and well done Zim in a way. Pakistan for a good win and if you had said to Zim a month ago that they would beat Bangladesh and take the Pakistan match into day 5 and feel a bit down about losing that one they would have probably ripped your arm off.

Cheema was impressive, but still feel that he does nothing with the new ball. I am surprised that Junaid only bowled 2 overs. Was he injured? Toffee not having a good test, so I think we should give Ramiz Raja Jnr a go for the ODI's.

Not bad to see Pakistan showing some discipline for a change. And a very welcome second coming from Zim. They dominated the Bangers comprehensively and looked well on course to draw this game too.

Seems to be a trend. A lot of these lads look lethal when they are slinging it in at pace with the reversing old ball.
Getting the new ball to swing and using the seam well is a different ballgame though. For Pakistan's sake, one would hope a few bowlers can be groomed specifically for that purpose.
You did mention a name yesterday - Sadaf Hussain. Looks to be a guy well suited to such a game. I just hope that the media don't pressurise him with unrealistic expectations (or ridiculous comparisons with former greats) and let the kid mark out his own periphery.

From what I have seen of Sadaf, he is a pretty good bowler. You can see his videos on YouTube. He also has a very good FC average.
