decent win, saw the highlights batting was ok spinners were good pacers looked rubbish but then if not for the unfortunate events of last year this would have been our 3rd string pace attack so on that account you can give them some leverage.Would like to see Yasir Shah and Rameez Raja in the odi's,

Good win for Pak but they were helped alot by Zim who dropped some crucial catches.

This pakistani team has room for improvement.. infact, they are the only team who could challange England and South Africa and give them a good run as long as they can keep the bad apples like Malik, Kamrans away from the team..

They did challenge us at times, but only managed it once over the course of most of a match. That would've been a pretty great series if they only showed some competence with the bat.

I hope we put on a good show against England. But it will probably be boring draws whose heroes will be Trott, Misbah and Younis.

Pakistan can challenge England but i think if we go through a positive change and work on our team for a couple of years, we not only can challenge england but can beat them easily.

beat them easily? That might be stretching it.

Btw Nasser Hussain in his recent interview said something similar

"Cricinfo: Would you say South Africa are now England's biggest threat for the No. 1 spot?

Nasser Hussain: They are, away from the subcontinent. If you had all of the Pakistan team available, and all fit, and none of the politics and none of the going around in circles with captains and all that, with their bowling attack, they would be a threat, but unfortunately that's not the case."

I am guessing he included the two banned swing bowlers there. It's a hypothetical case anyway. If they are included, and the Yousuf-Younis issues are resolved and they come in too, then I agree with Hussain that it's one hell of a side.

I meant if we work for a couple of years on our infrastructure and build a good side, then we can beat them easily at home.
