Review of the day :

Junaid was the pick of seamers, did everything except getting a nick, Cheema is more suitable to LOI format but he was trying to use the crease, variations and bowling slow balls which was a good sign on a dead flat road.
Sohail Khan, however, was wayward. I do not really know what happened to him, but he is supposed to be a good bowler as I have followed him in shorter domestic tournaments.
Ajmal was, as always, classy.

Misbah had his super duper, intelligent MBA (Oh yes, he has that degree ) decision to bowl first and therefore the bowlers are suffering.
That would be from MIT, yes? Multan Institute of Technology.

Crucial knock. Didn't watch him bat but I hope people don't look down on this innings because he batted slowly.
Doesn't matter when the player is playing for a minnow. Their first objective on the opening 2 days has to be to stay in the game and be competitive. This innings means they are.

Or not.

Pakistan struggling here. The Zim pace boys could do some damage against the dodgy Pakistan batting line up.
True! Anyone who saw Vitori and Jarvis against Bangladesh would know that they can be incisive. Vitori, in particular, because he also has that extra yard of pace and seems to bowl a heavier ball that gets big on you every now and then. Jarvis has impressed me with his action, accuracy and control of the seam.

I'd back the two young pacemen against this Pak batting lineup, the placid pitch notwithstanding.

What I don't understand is how someone with such good concentration has such an abysmal Logan Cup record. You'd think he'd score a lot of runs there batting like this.
And terrible conversion record. This is only Tino’s 3rd FC 100 in 72 games and he kept getting out between 50 and 100 in last year’s Logan Cup.

Absolutely love seeing a batsman from one of the least experienced countries batting for such long periods. It's an awesome effort Zim's run rate is 2.71, it's not THAT bad..

Run rate has increased dramatically since lunch too. Backing Zim to get 400 here, and then all it'll take is a Pakistani trademark collapse for Zimbabwe to win it. Every chance.

Also, Mawoyo is moving up this list. Already the 16th best score by a Zim batsman. 13 more runs gets him into the top 10.

Yes it makes a refreshing change from the Bangladesh batsmen. 5 days is a long time, even more so in this era.

Ugh there goes Lamb. See if Zimbabwe can make it past 400.

They should make it to 400 now, even with the horror tail. Depends how good Mayowo will be at shepherding the quicks, but someone's likely to get a few away.

Ah, there goes Price. Touch and go for the 400 then I guess.

Edit: 150 to Tino. Played.

Looks like we have four number elevens batting from 8 through to 11. This is the second worst tail after the Bangladeshi one.

Wouldn't call Price a #11, although his batting definitely isn't what it used to be.

I reckon Bangladesh's tail is actually a little better though. Equally as unreliable at hanging around, but they can all slog a few.

412. Definitely would have taken that at the start of the innings. Can't help but feel it should've been more with all the starts though.
