Bopara's career in all forms of cricket for England should have been over a long time ago. Good stuff there from Patel in the end, but should never have been anywhere near that close.

Guess if you played Stokes instead of Bopara and moved Buttler to 6 ahead of Patel it would look better. I understand Stokes can't bowl at the moment though?

Why do we need 2 openers, Kieswetter had done alright for England and we've just debuted a young lad that will if given time, prove a good player.

congrats England.. India fought hard but under the conditions with our pop gun attack, no total was ever safe as long as England played half decently. Morgan was just sublime. And KP's knock was crucial too.

There isn't really much argument for Stokes in particular, especially when he can't bowl.

I'm so disappointed by Bopara. Six months ago I was defending him in limited overs games, it just can't be done any more.
