Rajapaksa usually doesn’t muck around. Didn’t have a great A tour of England but was arguably the best batsman at the last U19 WC. Probably won't be long until both he and Chandimal start slog sweeping the spinners.

Clarkey should listen to me and tell siddle to bowl some leggies and lyon to add 20 meters to his line-up imo

This tour game I think is somewhat an indicator of what is instore for us in this test series, for any team to do well in these conditions they have gotta bowl and play spin well which we don't look like doing atm.
It's imperative that we play with two spinners in these conditions for otherwise the workload for the quicks might prove a bit too much in the humid energy saping Sri Lankan weather, eventhough likes of Beer and Lyon might prove to be a bit out of their depth but still the conditions are going to assist spin and if they don't perform here then we might just as well look at other options.
Also not as if its something new but a face-off for places seem to be taking place in this game as well but one thing is for sure that if we ever want to become a consistent test side ever again then we would have to build a steady side, we just can't keep going into every test without having a clue as to what exactly our best eleven is.

Siddle going at 4 rpo which is a norm with him these days and that's another reason why him and Johnson shouldn't be in the same XI.
Edit: Clarke seems to trying his level best to buy Lyon some wickets here whereas he hasn't been that keen about Beer.
