Mishra gets inline to the quicks and can give Swann a whack, that’s 2 things which the likes of VVS haven’t done much this series. Shame the bowling means he is unlikely to play test cricket anytime soon again. With Dravid gone, it's feasible that we could get through the rest at reasonable pace. Mishra will play some shots but shouldn't last long, Raina and Gambhir should be easy pickings, Dhoni could go either way. Tendulkar is the only man who I can see saving it for India, but hopefully his woeful series will end abruptly.
tbh this 100 100 hype is actually bull ****. you can't add apples and oranges.I hope Sachin doesn't get his 100th 100 today, there'll be loads of palaver over him, when the plaudits should be firmly with Dravid.
Just gone past you on the train, headed towards London now, still just as gloriously sunny.Hoping for another day like yesterday, tbh. India showing some fight but ultimately coming up short.
Cloudless sky in CB7, hope that's replicated in SE11.
btw the reason is that tendulkar SELLS!I hope Sachin doesn't get his 100th 100 today, there'll be loads of palaver over him, when the plaudits should be firmly with Dravid.
WTF?This is complete madness from our selectors, have they stopped taking fitness test before declaring whether a player returning from injury is fit or not, first zaheer now sehwag

Yeah, I know. I don't have anything against him getting it in the ODIs, I'd just rather not today!btw the reason is that tendulkar SELLS!
as soon as writers add anything remotely to do with tendulkar to their articles, they get hits like crazy.
it's demand and supply.
Chennai wasn't that far back tbf?Yeah, I know. I don't have anything against him getting it in the ODIs, I'd just rather not today!
It's weird, though, how your own views on players are influenced by what you've seen. For on reason or another, I've don't remember watching live (including on tv) Tendulkar playing a great innings against us. For Dravid, Lara and Ponting (god knows how many bloody times) I've seen a few, and though I know intellectually that Tendulkar is the greatest of them all, those three will always come to mind when we talk about great batsmen.
almost all his top knocks against england came before the mid 00's.Yeah, I know. I don't have anything against him getting it in the ODIs, I'd just rather not today!

No, you misunderstood what I was saying I don't mean Tendulkar against England, I mean how innings I have seen personally have an impact on my view of a player.Chennai wasn't that far back tbf?
And he has played a few other innings against England too like Edgbaston 1996 of the top of my head and also his first test century.
Ah right!! I just assumed you are more likely to see the innings against England live than anyone else. No, you misunderstood what I was saying I don't mean Tendulkar against England, I mean how innings I have seen personally have an impact on my view of a player.
In England, 1996 Birmingham (Nasser's first 100) was pretty special albeit against a very average but home superior England side. These were the dark days when Ronnie Charles Irani was playing test cricket and England were ****house, India away even more so but it was a top knock nevertheless in a losing cause.Yeah, I know. I don't have anything against him getting it in the ODIs, I'd just rather not today!
