Unusual dismissal

Afridi was backing up a couple of paces, but when the fielder caught the ball he took another couple of steps down the wicket before turning to try and regain his ground.

What a muppet.

Rather than blame Afridi I'd rather give big credit to Scott Borthwick for that piece of fielding, not only did he show his agility in reaching it, quick as a flash he recognised Afridi was a couple of paces too many out of his ground and he threw down the stumps. Afridi could not have expected that.

He still had them on after about 17 overs, and probably right till the end, don't think he could still believe what had happened.

Yes Blackwell was getting the odd one to turn square, excellent knock from McKenzie to give Hants a very healthy total on that pitch. Can imagine Afridi being a real hanful here, yet Durham have some matchwinners with the bat. It's not over yet and you never know, but advantage Hants.

This match is filled with promising young English players, come to think about it there's been loads on show so far with these quarters. Looks rosy for England that's for sure.
