He just keeps doing enough in ODIs. He's never done enough in Tests.
True! His ODI form and the fact that Tamim scores quickly at the other end have sort of obscured Kayes' failures.

This is what he has done in tests so far. And 13 tests isn't what you'd call a very small sample size.

The more pertinent question is: is there a better incumbent than Kayes waiting in the wings?

He has got too many chances for my liking. Perhaps time to groom some new talent and give him a fair go.

Well they left Siddique out so he could play this game, so there's an obvious one.
Siddique would be the immediate replacement, but it's ideal to have a bench strength of 3-4 prospective candidates. It keeps the guys who are playing on their toes; knowing fully well that someone is breathing down their necks at all times.

What is Ashraful's problem? Is it something that the Bangaldesh management must get involved in? Coz it seems to be a confidence and temperament issue. All the talent in the world is there, barring the consistency.
