Yeah I agree entirely but you still shouldn't really break a winning formula unless someone is knocking the doors down.

He's averaging about 15. Even if they're bringing up 50 partnerships regularly I'm sure they could do better than that. Siddique isn't playing this game ffs.

I think the selectors are letting ODI performances, where he scores lots of runs and an often damaging rate to his team, with his Test performances which have been dire.
