Yeah, that's a strange one. Siddique averaged 34 last year in test cricket with 1 hundred in 6 tests, which is pretty good going for a Bangladeshi batsman. Struggled in the A tour of South Africa earlier this year however, averaged 8 with the bat in the FC games but I highly doubt that was held against him as Ashraful, who is playing here only averaged 9!

The only positive thing I can say is that the Run Rate is checked, so of they can get their act together than we can still swing the match towards our favor.
Razzak is not suited for this format but he was still picked based on his record vs Zimbabwe. Ashraful and Mahmudullah were out bowling him in the preparation for this Test.
Nafees was picked based on his stellar record vs Zimbabwe.Siddique can't play the short stuff. You can say this is it for Ashraful (really the last time)
The Bowlers need to do better and make them play shots, way to many easy leaves. Shahadat is missed here. Shakib needs to give one of the part timers bowl, his captaincy was very robotic.

Also why bother with Razzak when Shakib and Mahmudullah are both better than him anyway?
