Well having no third man signals to Ian Bell that he can score as many runs as he wants. Hence he's on 126* off 157 balls and he hasn't even been playing especially aggressively.Further to this, not having a 3rd man unless absolutely necessary signals to the opposition you're doing something, that you're active in the match. Throwing some poor sap down there all day on anything other than the flattest of decks sends a bad message to the opposition. Whether true or not, if I was out there batting, I'd think the opposition were more interested in stopping me from scoring than getting me out and there's no need to send that message in England, especially with far less than 400 on the board.
Inexplicable. England are 165 in front, an out-of-form Morgan is out there with the 'keeper+ tail to come and a crocked Trott. A good burst could take, say, 3 wickets in the next 40 runs and suddenly India are back in it.Well they've got a third man, and no slips now to Bell. Hope Ian nicks one through first slip.
You alone are enough, tbh. No need for a match. You and Richard would be a match made in hell.
Meh, think there are other factors at play here. I'm probably pissing in the wind on this one, if you bowl as **** as India have, probably doesn't matter what field you have. You're going to have a bad day.Well having no third man signals to Ian Bell that he can score as many runs as he wants. Hes on to give the fast bowlers some respite with the new ball due shortly. Harbhajan has been off the field too.Have India given up? Raina FFS.
Boycott will be mentioning his stick of rhubarb again.
Probably not fit enough, had moobs at taunton and while he looks fitter now he won't have the stamina to keep coming back.Sreesanth seems a bit underbowled? Surely he could have had another spell now
No, Harby threw toys out of pram and by time new ball is taken England could be out of sight. Still 17 overs to go till new ball, bit early for resting the pacemen for it when you need wickets.Hes on to give the fast bowlers some respite with the new ball due shortly. Harbhajan has been off the field too.
