The foreshortening really comes into play when someone bats out of their crease though. Live you wouldn't think height was an issue at all.

Lucky for KP.
Mm, that's true, big man is KP. 50/50 I guess.

Kumar taking a leaf of Broad's old book, it seems.

EDIT: Christ! When Harby has to drag you away, I think you've gone over the top.

No way that was just "clicking" the bails as Hawk Eye says. I know he was far up, but that ball hit him low and wasn't bouncing much at all.

Norwood's on Fire
GIMH does post like this.No one says anything to him.Probably he is an old & senior member on this forum.Another thing I would not love to mention but have to is that He is not Indian.
The things that make me sad is that some people say Cook,Trott, etc are great.Best in the world..blah blah..They are right. (Although i don't doubt the abilities of these players).
But if someone mentions Praveen,Sree,Ishant,Raina....BCCI...UDRS.....then these are referred as ****,crap..etc..Where does their language sense go then??
Sorry to be mentioning things at wrong places, but truth is truth.

How on earth can you say that with any certainty? He was miles down the pitch and he's a big, big man.

Yeah, you can go onto the ignore list.

edit: my daughter is blowing raspberries at the computer screen, pretty much sums things up.

I disagree. I think the conditions in this test match are better for the pace bowlers. There is decent swing on offer but this pitch is offering a lot more assistance than the Lord's pitch. Plenty of bounce, carry and seam movement in this pitch so far.

Dude, a bit of advice; stop this style of posting as it's only going to antagonize people.
Didn't think there was plenty of bounce. Ball was dying a bit as well and in between had some bounce as well. Probably has to do with the grass.

There's a fair bit of doubt whenever someone is that far down though. See how far the ball had to travel.

Still would have given it myself, mind.

**** happens. some go your way, some don't.

 at people who keep saying that decisions go in favour of 1 team.

it's a random event, can go in anyone's favour.

edit--

so the ball was just clipping?
not out!!
