*Official* - India in West Indies

Yup it's the old 1-0 mentality at work. India managed to blow the win with both ball and bat in a single day.

Well done India, series win away from home with a depleted team.

WI also competed very well and the rearguard effort by Chanders, Edwards and Fidel was superb and saved the game for their team.

Can't understand this decision at all so early.

Could have had a free go for 5 overs atleast and then called of the match at any stage if need be :@

They had West Indies cornered almost.

ah ****...

maybe realistically there wasn't possibility of getting those remaining 16 overs.. remember windies were playing extra defensively, with not even a slip for laxman ffs.

still a one nil is pretty good result given how we were denied in barbados by rain. today was a disappointment agreed, still credit to the ineperienced guys.....

glad to see a decent crowd turn up at last.

england here we come!

This, the decision was just baffling

Ridiculous... a team like the Australia of the past decade would have gone for the win, we lack the ruthlessness of a supposed no. 1 team.

Moral victory for West Indies, IMHO.

They have not shown this much heart for a long time.

I thought Tony Grieg was being a facetious idiot during the Tea break when he said that the BCCI should offer $100K to the team for each test win. But it seems there's more than a little logic to his lunacy -- to be sure, that $100K would have probably meant an Indian win.

This fantastic dominican crowd can feel robbed.

We aren't Australia with Gilchrist, McGrath, Warne etc. FFS. We don't have Steyn. Even SA with Steyn and Morkel and all their best players available drew a Test here last year. Pakistan only drew their series. England lost. Chill, an away series win is always a good result. :)

The crowd will be happy with a draw ,rather than a loss ,tbf:p

It is us morons who are watching the game 3.30 and beyond in the night for 5 days that can feel robbed.

Pathetic display from the number one team. Way to rob the paying spectators of cricket. Complete disrespect for test cricket, that was a comfortable win at worst.
Oh really???

maybe you didn't watch it and reading just the scorecards...

when a new batsman is greeted by 5 boundary riders and a bowler bowling two feet outside leg, with rapidly fading daylught, you call it a comfortable chase???

oh you armchair guys must know more than the guys out there, dont you???

disrespect for test cricket lmao.... tell that to sammy and co. who didn't give it even a fight... atleast india sent in raina was some intent

Yeah but a win was for the taking :/

I'm sorry but Dhoni should have come and have a go at least. If he had got out with a low score then fair enough, but seriously sending in Laxman with the chase still pretty doable was just stupid.

It is not that they didn't win but the fact that they took the safe option so early with still 7 wickets in hand and About 20 overs to go which is dissapointing.

They didn't have confidence in their ability to play 10 overs out even if they were 5 down on this pitch which was really doing nothing much and where Edwards alone played 20 overs today?
