He's already going for the draw it seemsDravid needs to bat a bit more positively here, with so much time already being taken out of the game.
Tbh if it was on day one on an absolute road against a Sri Lankan level test bowling attack, he'd still bat like he was going for the drawHe's already going for the draw it seems
It's getting frustrating, 6 runs in 7 overs. This is where you realise the importance of the likes of Sehwag.Come on Dravid, score some runs. Rotate the strike.
Utter nonsense.Prince EWS and some others have said in the past that strike rates don't really matter...
yea right
There are occasions when a slow strikerate can actually help more.. like Dravid wearing down the attack in the previous Test and cashing in later.. but surely there are more situations in Test cricket where it is more beneficial to score quicker IMO.Prince EWS and some others have said in the past that strike rates don't really matter...
yea right
That's my point.bloody hell, we've lost so much time to rain and this pitch ain't. a paradise either..
better safe than sorry....
I agree. But the hard work of seeing off the new ball has been done IMO.. this should be cash in time. WI are bowling good lines and there's no point taking unnecessary risks. Still rotating the strike should not be a problem for batsmen of this class.bloody hell, we've lost so much time to rain and this pitch ain't. a paradise either..

yeah not denying that.I agree. But the hard work of seeing off the new ball has been done IMO.. this should be cash in time. WI are bowling good lines and there's no point taking unnecessary risks. Still rotating the strike should not be a problem for batsmen of this class.
