Yeah, I confess I've not seen a lot of play, but judging by the scores there's been a bit in them, which is a good thing. The curators have produced some nice pitches for this series BTW. For a decent batting team, I'd say they are 350-par score wickets, which is usually just about right for an entertaining Test match.
Indeed. Even better than his home series perf against aus in 08 imho.I am very much impressed by Ishant's bowling in this series, it seems like he's maturing as a bowler.
I personally won't hesitate to call this one his best series in terms of bowling quality - even better than the series down-under where he troubled Ponting more than once. I have never seen him bowl so well consistently (regardless of his stats or opposition quality).
It is? I thought any score over 300 was deemed to be biased towards the batsman and not an even contest between bat and ball..The curators have produced some nice pitches for this series BTW. 5 days of test cricket would mean roughly (5*90) or 450 overs. A modest run rate of 3 would mean (450*3) runs or 1350 runs in total, or 1350/4 or 338 runs per innings. It is? I thought any score over 300 was deemed to be biased towards the batsman and not an even contest between bat and ball..

If you are fond of only those test matches which finish within first 4 days or so, then I can see your point. But IMO an even contest between bat and ball should see a result in the 5th day.
