Mishra's playing some pretty good shots here.
WAG!!!!

The new ball and removing Bishoo has actually helped India.

This is the strategy I talked about a couple of hours ago. Bowlers are tiring, fielders have been out in the sun on a hot day - perfect time to milk the bowling and run them ragged. It's not just the runs but also the time they spend and try to exhaust the West Indian fielders.

When the top-order batsmen come out to bat after a long, tiring day in the field, you already have an advantage as the side bowling for victory. Cool thinking!

What is the reason the WICB prefers this schedule now? Looks to be a lose-lose situation for the players.

They are ragged after a long domestic season and the break means that they lose any momentum gained there. Seems kind of logic defying to me.
The WICB are spineless bullies, who do everything BCCI tell them to do, and then beat up their own players....

Congrats to Dravid on another match-winning innings at Sabina!

Class, form, yadda, yadda...

Very pleased for Dravid. One of nature's good guys and has had a lot of questions asked about his position when, from the outside at least, India don't have a nailed on sixth batsman. Get that sorted before you think of replacing a chap of his class.

38(56) for Dravid in this session... he's just upped the ante at the perfect time with wickets falling at the other end and tailenders coming in. Credit to Bhajji and Mishra for giving him some decent support.

Really low quality effort from the Windies at the moment.

The match situation is bleak, yes, but the lack of heart is palpable.

Skipper should try some off-cutters against Mishraji. He bowled them quite well against the Pakistani tailenders and IIRC, got three batsmen bowled in Guyana with balls that nipped back in.

EDIT: Mishra gets caught as I speak. Very crucial knock though.
