Alright, I have to ask. Which selector's daughter is Suresh Raina sleeping with?

What makes him a better test candidiate (against two 88-90 mph bowlers) ahead of candidates like Pujara, Rohit Sharma (fine ODI series) and Badrinath??

why is roach not playing?
Because he's not the captain.

They reckon they need a leggie (variety), Rampaul is in form and Edwards is the best pace option in the region. That leaves just one spot and when its you vs. the skipper, you'd usually emerge second best.

Rohit was around but is only now starting to get scores in ODIs.. If people can write off Badri after 2 tests and 10 odd ODIs, then surely Rohit has overstayed his welcome in the Indian side...

Pujara is injured. Else he would be in ahead of Raina, I think..

Badri is an interesting one. He seems to put too much pressure on hmself at this level and hence, will perhaps never amount to much.. which is a shame.. :(

He genuinely struggled in just one ODI I saw here. As you said, maybe too much nerves. But otherwise, although he didn't score, didn't look out of his zone.

I think f/c records should be given more crecedence. MUCH more than ODI performances or IPL "form". Badri is a proven customer and Pujara, IMHO, is the best young batsman the nation has produced in quite some time.

You just know if Rampaul took that catch VVS would have stood there in disbelief for 5 minutes before walking off.

And I am ****ing done. Just done. No Badrinath. ****ing ridiculous. The ****ing morons who run this ****ing boards give the Aussie board a run for their money. Hey let's try out the player who is the best in FC cricket, but in a format he is unsuited in, and then ****ing drop him before he can actually show what he can do, because we'd rather try out ****ing dumb little ****s like Parthiv Patel when they hadn't played a single FC match. Massive douches. Almost makes me root for the Windies.

Umm, what? Mukund hardly went out there trying to play stroke after stroke.
He shouldn't be in the team over guys like Badrinath. And you don't ever rest players for a TEST MATCH (perhaps Bangla test matches excluded). It's ridiculous. You want to get more rest Sachin? Go **** yourself. Retire and you'll have as much rest as you want.
