See as I understand it, the scheduled close was 6.30 because there were 98 overs to be played. The rules allow for half an hour to make up any unplayed overs.
Play only gets scheduled to close at 7 if there have been delays on that specific day.
The programme scheduled to come on after the cricket was 'Football's Greatest' and they hung around chatting in the studio for a while. Yesterday when play finished they finished transmission straight away.
