**Official** Sri Lanka in England / Scotland - 2011

Jacknife

International Captain
Cricinfo have him with an average of 86.4mph and top speed of 87.8mph. I wonder why SkySports speed guns read higher than Cricinfo. And I do wonder which technology more closely resembles the stuff used between 1998-2005 which had the peaked Brett Lee and Akhtar at around 90-95mph. I'd reckon the SkySports guns, for whatever reason, are higher than the technology that existed previously and Cricinfo is more accurate, but I guess it is all just opinion.
On sky he was bowling at his fastest 91mph but when dug in short down to 85mph. His first few overs he was around 88-90mph most balls.
It is interesting where are cricinfo getting their speeds from, you'd have thought it would be from the same speed gun.

You can see if KP worked more on his bowling he would be decent bowler, seems to get loads of turn, especially from his height of 6ft 5".

I think we've seen enough of KP. Yes, he's getting something out of the rough but I'm sick of his two long hops an over.

I don't know where he's getting this info from, but if he's right...

These naked English cricketers are the bane of my life. Seem to turn up everywhere. Like that ****ing Virat Kohli photo.

If I win my avatar bet, that Tremlett pic is what weemanbob is going to have to contend with for 6 months.
