Still inconsistent with his line, Broad.. He is getting excellent assistance from the pitch... If he gets his line right he can bag a few.

It's his length which is his bigger problem imo
Agreed, he is still bowling too short. I don't understand why he can't or won't pitch it up a bit.

EDIT: But not to half voley length. Good length is called good for a reason.

I think he's mixing it up well. He's tried the fuller ones ,then brought it back a bit , then the bouncer. You can see the fuller one is the wicket taking one.

Broad before the last over...

Seems he has been okay with the length, although yes there have been the short ones occassionally. But his line is all over the shop. Most of them not requiring the batsman to play at all.

Really think we've missed our chance now, these batsmen are battling really intently and intelligently. Not bad bowling, but the batsmen are blunting the attack.

Tremlett's by comparison...

the length's have been similar, but look at where he has pitched his shorter ones in.

Are you sure you know what line and length is? About half of them are short and are well packed on a single line.

How is his line all over the shop and compared to tremletts, Broads is much more in the left handers channel.

No use really bowling in the "channel" if you're bowling short...

Direct it at the batsman's body or where you can get him squared up. trem's been able to do that. Broad's case batsmen have comfortably left him outside off.
