Nah, it's happened a couple of times in recent memory. Dhoni was the batsman on one occasion. It was a test match IIRC (not sure if it was against Australia or South Africa). The other one was Parthiv Patel against South Africa in the fifth ODI earlier this year.Strauss caught that.
I have never, ever seen a catch like that go the way of the fielding team once referred to the 3rd umpire.
Too much benefit is given to batsmen.
Haha, I like Swann as a person but I have an unfortunate tendency to want players who I consider overrated to perform badly to solidify my impression and Swann is one such player. How can you not like Swann?
Agreed, but if England enjoy the same luck as SL did during their innings, Engalnd should be able to get a lead of 200+ by the end of day 4.Really good catch that by Broad and another for Swanny. Good total and England will really have to knuckle down and be sensible and put a score together because with Jimmy looking injured, they'll have to rack up a big score.
Isn't always the case though, especially with how things have gone today, like I said, with Anderson appearing to have gone for the game, we'll need a big score.Agreed, but if England enjoy the same luck as SL did during their innings, Engalnd should be able to get a lead of 200+ by the end of day 4.
Here's hoping the form shown in the Ashes is continued...........
