If it hadn't been for bloody monty we'd have a perfect record, still will take top with a game in hand after many predicted us for relegation. Haven't played either of the bottom two either

Stokes with a decent knock today, looks like it will be in a losing cause though!.

Looks like our usual pitiful OD performance

Another good win for Sussex today against K*nt, we seem to be on a nice little roll, and sit proudly atop our CBF table.

Chris Nash, who's having a cracking season, carried his bat for 124no. I'm quite surprised to see that it was his first ever limited overs century. It was also his second hundred in successive innings following the matchwinning effort in the Somerset match.

Teenager Reece Topley of Essex was sitting in a Business Studies A/S exam this morning at five to eight and finished at five to ten. Rushed down to the ground and makes the starting eleven
Decent effort by the lad.

In other news, We've been put into bat and already 1 down. Completely changed our pace attack as well, Chapple, Anderson, Maharoof and Proctor out for Mahmood, Smith, Newby and Hogg. Not confident about this one at all. Think Hampshire maybe looking at their first win.

Plenty of good wickets to bat on to day then eh?

Karl Brown looks set for another ton.
you jinxed him :@

From reports Hampshire prepared a bit of a green top after they have been unhappy with the flat wickets dished up at Southampton so far. Hopefully there is still something in it when we get to bowl, a bit worried about us in this game.

We need at least 300 first but our tail looks shaky

Currently in the midst of a decent partnership for the 8th wicket between Saj and Hogg taking us up towards 300, partnership of 65 in 10 overs. 29 have come off Griffiths first two overs with the new ball

Just drifting a bit here, once we got past 300 should have been hit out or get out. A couple of overs tonight would have been useful

There must be, with the likes of Khawaja & Alviro Petersen getting tons.
And a career best to boot. Glamorgan were doing alright so far this season but Virus needed the runs.

Again no Lopsy for Essex. Reece Topley's examinations must be over.

Looks like a top innings from Andrew McDonald. Came in with Leicestershire in all sorts of trouble, smashed 164 at quicker than a run-a-ball and ended up scoring over 50% of the sides runs.
