So pumped for tomorrow...going to be awesome...wish it'd warm up a bit though...13,14 degrees will play into th Kiwi's hands more than the Reds.

Unrealted to S15 but anyway...

Joost van der Westhuizen has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease...wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy tbh.

Hope things can work out as best as they can for him and his family

From the Rebels matches I've seen hes been horribly exposed on defence and although his kicking's been solid hes added little to the Melbourne cause all things considered. Also interested to hear that Butch James is back and might appear for the Lions this weekend - do you think with a few solid performances hes a realistic chance to be included in the Springbok squad?
Statistically one of the worst defenders alongside Quade Cooper and Sarel Pretorius. All three are complete turnstyles but at least the latter make up for it on attack. Sarel has probably been the best 9 in this year’s competition. Almost impossible for him to go to the WC with du Preez, Hougaard and Pienaar around but Boks should look to cap him this year to stop Aus or one of the home nations from poaching him.

Not sure on Butch James. Coach likes him and he came back purely because of the WC but what with Frans Steyn and Pienaar being able to play 10 and Morne being the incumbent, the Boks will only need one from Grant, Lambie, James or Elton Jantjies for the WC. And at this moment in time, Grant and Lambie are well ahead of Butch.

Boric and McAlister are back for the Blues but Kaino is now injured while Isaia Toeava is gone for the season. The All Blacks are the walking wounded at the moment and its still the NZ sides which are the ones to beat.

Yep and the Reds are without Harris, Hynes and Davies.

Tapuai an able replacement, think Ant Finger has found his new home at 13...best defensive player in Australia IMO

Enjoyable match to watch. Sort of proves my point which I made a few weeks back that the Blues might be able to afford a 15-20 minute period of playing with no intensity and letting the opposition make all the play against a weaker side but versus a Reds/Stormers/Crusaders/etc outfit thats just not going to work. Almost were able to play themselves back into the match and I guess 2 bonus points were deserved. Really impressed with Munro tonight, and to Voltman's disgust I suggest that he should start at 10 next week ahead of Brett, providing Benson Stanley can resume at 13.

Reds

That last try at the death to the blues could hurt at season's end though...2 points could be the difference between a home GF and an Away GF...Bring on The All Bla...err...Crusaders.

Could be absolutely crucial in terms of the Blues' placement but I don't think it'll affect the Reds, who after their win last night should take out top spot. They've got a relatively easy draw providing they don't get belted by the Crusaders in two weeks time, since following that they've got the Brumbies, Force and Chiefs, none of whom have looked cohesive this year.
