billy the kid bowling coach. in terrible news:

In another coaching decision, the Australian batting coach Justin Langer is expected to be formally re-appointed to the role after agreeing to terms with CA. Langer has held the post since November 2009.

quite sure we could have made Donald batting coach and he'd do a better job tbh

Donald couldn't do any worse as our batting coach than Langer either

Astonishing reappointment of the Brown Nosed Gnome.

Flies in the face of my coaching recommendations in my review.

Coaching is only a behind the scene job but still like the captain the back-room staff too needs to take some responsibility for the poor showing in recent times.

Hence its been baffling for me to see guys like Nielsen and Langer get their contracts extended despite not being able to do any real good, its almost as if CA's ego doesn't allow them to come to terms with the fact that they made a mistake hiring these people in the first place.

Australia needs people in charge who are honest about the situation and determined to turn things around, unfortunately I haven't seen either of these qualities within the current leadership group, instead at present we just seem to have embraced mediocrity.

No coach makes Clarke and Watson miss straight balls, Ponting hook at anything above knee height, Phil Hughes throw his bat at absolutely everything not at his body or Haddin nick anything outside off-stump. It's Langer's job to pick up on those things, sure, but they're not easy to fix and, ultimately, there's only one **** responsible for their play once they get beyond the boundary rope and it isn't Langer.

Siddons- Batting coach

Arthur- Head coach

Donald- Bowling coach

I think these would have the best men to handle the things, Siddons doesn't have a high-profile but the work he did with Australia and B'deshis has been top notch.

Arthur and Donald on the other hand seem to be very smart individuals who understand the complexities of the game, everywhere they have worked the results have been pretty good and there presence could have done a world of good to the Australian side.

The Australian administration also needs to get off their high-horses and realise that there is no shame in hiring foreign coaches.

The poor performing players need to be dealt with separately.

That's another issue.

heh @ Siddons for batting coach, was soft on the short ball and had a Hughes-like in his ability to find the edge of his bat.

Siddens for fielding coach I could get behind, though. Hell, Siddons for specialist fielding 12th man I could get behind, was that good and still looks fit.

shut it ****
Notable performances under Stuart:

-Sydney Grade Cricket import Stewart Rhodes scoring 2 from 62 balls
-Sydney Grade Cricket import Cameron Merchant being so terrible Heath made him a thread on another forum
-Victorian Jayden Herrick spearheading the Wellington attack in the extras column
-Australian Grade imports being even worse than local players
-Not winning anything
-Having 400 chased down by CD for the loss of a solitary wicket, Jamie How.

We have Donald and you guys get Stuart. I love it.:p
