The commentators were hoping to see Tsotsobe bowling mid-late 80's (mph), I don't think he's capable of bowling that quickly. Whenever I've seen him bowling for SA he is generally late 70's, early 80's, but he is some way from being a speedster. Still he does like he's not bowling at full pelt.Tsotsobe looks like he's bowling at about 50%, really disappointing for the Essex fans, watching him roll his arm over at 75mph and bowling filth at the end.
Yes, in the WC, he seemed to bowling faster, up at around 85/87mph, but when I've watched him in SA he's more of the 83mph bowler. The commentators were hoping to see Tsotsobe bowling mid-late 80's (mph), I don't think he's capable of bowling that quickly. Would say 83mph full pelt, not on average over a spell, but maybe he's found an extra yard in the last few months if he was bowling that quick at the WC. I know it's been an issue in the past with SA, struggling to work out how such an impressive physical specimen is struggling to get it down the other end at enough pace.Yes, in the WC, he seemed to bowling faster, up at around 85/87mph, but when I've watched him in SA he's more of the 83mph bowler.
That was the only over of his that I saw, but yeah, what an over! The second and third wickets really were exceptional yorkers. Always promising to see someone bowl at 90mph too!Graham Napier delivered an outstanding hat-trick tonight against Glamorgan, first removing a set Gareth Rees, but it was his two follow-up deliveries that really impressed. Poor Jim Allenby and Stewart Walters stood little chance with Napier's 90mph in-ducking yorkers.
Then the heavens opened, and that was that!
i think he was on 39 ,when Shahzad cleaned him up. Good courage from the lad, to come back out and get his half century.Apparantly Shahzad managed to break Hales' jaw yesterday. Meaning that Hales came out to bat again later on and made a 50 with a broken jaw. Interesting.
He'll be out for the next two CC matches as he needs surgery.
From what I've seen of him and read, he's a similar bowler to what Finn was a few years ago, similar height and pace, he's got plenty of talent and a great future.Just did a thing for SSN on Reece Topley. Hadn't even heard of him till today. Is he any good?
