What i meant was on a full time position, not as a short replacement (which is what Daemon was referring to i think). After Ponting it was always going to be Clarke as captain. He has one ODI as captain
Yeah I suppose, but it was a non contest between him and Clarke. He was being talked about as a possible captain though isn't it?
Yet one more of the innumerable Australians who haven't justified their price tags this year.Stupid shot by Hussey, no need to panic yet.
Impossible to figure out what goes on in the mind's of these coaches. Shaun Marsh was the stand out batsman in the first edition of the IPL, then he got injured and everyone promptly forgot about him.Shaun Marsh was relatively cheap as no-one wanted him apart from Kings 11.
There were some ludicrous bids for some Australian players. I'm not sure what plans the franchises have with some of the choices.Impossible to figure out what goes on in the mind's of these coaches. He's not a crude slogger. Very pretty to watch, even in this format. He is not flashy, which I think works against him. Ticks along though without fuss.
t20 such a strange beast isnt it?? If anyone told me Rohit would be useless in ODIs after watching only his IPL exploits, i'd suggest his head to be examined. If Australia had picked Shaun Marsh in their WC squad, he could have made the difference to their misfiring middle order. Looks ridiculously comfortable batting in Indian conditions in limited overs formats.
Yup, he replaces nehra and will act as a vice captain for Pune warriors. So i guess we will be seeing Ganguly open with ryderGanguly signs up for the Pune warriors.
