Has Vaas definately retired from Tests? Or has someone just decided that he's past it?

Quite a few overseas signings struggling this year. Maybe says something about the strength of the CC? Just a thought.Jesus, Tsotsobe went around the park. Not having a great time of it over here.
Cook doesn't play much List A, does he? About ten matches in 3 seasons or something?Steve Davies and Ally Cook both came close to hundreds today too.
Had a look and he played 6 domestic List A matches in both 2009 and 2010, (plus a few matches for the Lions and the Bangladesh tour last year) so that's a fair bit for an international.Cook doesn't play much List A, does he? About ten matches in 3 seasons or something?
Doesn't score quick enough imo. If we are looking for a player of Chopra's ilk, Cook has a better domestic record and is already an insider. With Trott entrenched in the no 3 slot we really need some impetus. Hales is more an option imo.Wouldn't bat against Varun Chopra making the England ODI side in the future, averaging >40 and in the form of his life. Previous U19 captain and if this proves to be his breakout year then he'll make the side sooner or later.
You seem to have forgotten Essex have Tsotsobe. Yikes, he's had a poor April.Fully expecting us to get absolutely pounded today. No way we have the batting to get a decent score, we will plod along to 200 or so, about 80 short at Chelmsford.
