Couple of interesting chases going on aws - Leicestershire need 95 in 10.5 overs with 7 wickets left to get 295. James Taylor still in stunning form, unbeaten on 57 now.

Seems like some great games today. Middlesex beat Netherlands by one run after the Dutch went ****ing crazy in the last 4 overs only to get 2 singles of the last two balls of the innings. Essex chased down 287 and Leicestershire nearlty chased down 294...James Taylor WAG

Cook doesn't play much List A, does he? About ten matches in 3 seasons or something?

Had a look and he played 6 domestic List A matches in both 2009 and 2010, (plus a few matches for the Lions and the Bangladesh tour last year) so that's a fair bit for an international.
Only played a few in 07-08 when he was in both the Test and ODI sides.

Wouldn't bat against Varun Chopra making the England ODI side in the future, averaging >40 and in the form of his life. Previous U19 captain and if this proves to be his breakout year then he'll make the side sooner or later.

Doesn't score quick enough imo. If we are looking for a player of Chopra's ilk, Cook has a better domestic record and is already an insider. With Trott entrenched in the no 3 slot we really need some impetus. Hales is more an option imo.
