There doesn't need to have been another 5. He was on 13 (5+8) and this took him to 18.

One of his 5 point infraction (originally issued on Feb 11th) had expired. He had another 5 pointer (originally issued on Feb 18th) that is due to expire on the 6th.

Everything I said before that stands, as does the fact that the infractions prior to this included 'Tendy is a buffoon' and - OMG - swearing in a VM.

If one of his infractions has expired then he should only have 13 points, which shouldn't trigger a ban. Otherwise what's the point in infractions expiring?
Can one of you hand out 5 points for this post and see if it triggers a ban for me? I've had 25 points total but one of mine has expired, so I'm currently sitting on 20, so shouldn't be banned if I get another 5.

You misunderstand. Before his latest infraction, he was sitting on 13 points. He had a 5 point infraction from Feb.18th and a 8 point infraction from April 12th. So that's 13 points. The latest 5 point infraction makes it 18 and a one week ban. I think the confusion on Sledger's part was thinking one of his infractions had expired (it had, but the two others I mentioned above hadn't yet).

If it's any help, it only appears to be reports on VMs that I'm getting. And some are enjoyable - maybe I shouldn't have said anything!!

He was warned for swearing via VMs - a publicly accessible part of the site - and within 24 blatantly did it again. If that's not ignoring moderator instructions, I don't know what is.
Also, Bun has nothing to do with sledger being banned. Sledger calling other posters a **** does, however.

Are you suggesting we know who that was and are choosing to keep it secret? Seriously? That was a multi of someone sick, and he/she was banned as soon as you reported the VM. Not much else we can do about it. Not everything is a conspiracy.
