'Official' Pakistan in West Indies

Pakistan doing exactly the right thing with Kemar Roach, being patient and taking very few risks. He is the obvious threat to Pakistan chasing this target down, can conceivably just play him out and capitalise on what's on offer from the other end.

That's a very nice thing to say, I appreciate that. Although my knowledge of Pakistan cricket does not compare to your good self.
Your knowledge of the English team and system is probably very good though........

yeah agree with the Roach part.

Sad to see the decline of WI cricket.

Yes I agree, I have watched a lot of WI cricket (internationally) in the last few years and always feel like they are on the verge of turning the corner, then injuries and fall outs occur and it seems they are back to square one. Roach is the latest bowler to offer genuine hope for the future of WI cricket, let's hope for their sake he maintains fitness and focus.

The thought of a bowling line-up consisting of Fidel Edwards, Jerome Taylor, and Kemar Roach is a promising one, but will they ever all appear in the same side ?

Surprisingly the West Indies seem to have discovered two of the brighter young stars around Roach and Bravo but they really need to unearth a couple more to be any force in the future.

Some real talent in those two, I don't think their problem is finding the raw talent, but it's in developing that potential into actual top class consistent performers. They do need to find more quality, they also need the experienced players to play a huge role in sharing their knowledge at this level and producing the kind of performances that mean the side are not too reliant on big contributions from the youngsters. That will be difficult in the ODI format as they seem to have expelled all experience from the side, but it will be vital in Test cricket.

Don't understand the hype over Edwards TBH, Ishant and Sree have better records than him but get tons of **** on here. Think his injuries have inflated his reputation a bit. His FC record is also pretty average.

Can anyone tell me why is nash not in WI ODI squad for this series? I have seen a little of him but he looks to be a very good player

Pretty shoddy captaincy from Sammy. Well under a run a ball needed and no action taken at all to stop the singles.
