Lol, you only found out you started the bandwagon by accident with your thread about him playing cricket on the same day he found out his dad died.

Good chase; watching Mahela is such a sweet treat.

Mumbai finally paying the price of poor team balance; a bowler short and a batsman too many. The team strategy has to be somewhat better than 'ride on the back of Malinga in every game'.

And what's with the team batting 2nd winning most games?

It is too skewed ,specially in the night games.

LOL really poor show from Sachin, 1st he didnt allowed his opening partener to play his natural aggressive game, that guy cant play classy on drives, let him slog! Sachin wasted 7-8 balls when he was close to his 50, he didnt attempted any shot that could fetch more than a single in that period! So many double's on offer, he kept denying. and why he guided last ball of innings for just a single. and He is poor captain, we all know. Common with batting line up Mumbai has, 180 is not a good score if one of your batsmen go onto make 100. It felt like watching Sachin vs Kochi XI at his home ground.

WTF? Brendan was good, but surely Tendulkar deserved the MoM. The instinct to limit the MoM to the winning team is really stupid and irritating.

Eh?

How did Sachin not allow his opening partner to play his natural game?

Besides it was their bowling which was poor ,more than the batting.

Jadeja has always done well in the IPL.

He is doing very well both with the bat and ball this year again.

He really got in the Indian team based on the IPL too and it was there where he was out of his depth and ***** .
So kind of worried again that he will earn a place back based on this IPL.

Jadeja totally ignores Hodge who was running upto celebrate the win with him.
Haha I noticed that too. Jadeja just lapped it up himself and didn't hug Hodge
:(

Reckon the two boundaries he hit off Malinga (both pretty decent balls as well) were the match-winners for Kochi. That was a good over with a wicket off the first ball and 3 dots, but still went for 8, which kept Kochi on top of the RR. Becoming a fan of Hodge, he is a class act and a very good addition to the IPL.

Whatever it takes!!!

you know, it was really touching when he mentioned about his dad in the interview right after the WC win.. Some guys in that thread were arguing about him perhaps giving cricket TOO much importance over his dad or whatever and watching him speak on his dad then, it was clear how much he meant to him..

Kochi are apparently going to include Sourav Ganguly in their squad as a replacement for Steve Smith.

Sachin could have got a few more runs if he just played normally instead of moving around the crease too much and playing unorthodox strokes IMO. Still, class innings and yet to be dismissed in this IPL.
