More likely to be a rematch at Summerslam I would have thought (hope). Wouldn't want to see them face off at WM again. Really want to see Taker vs Cena at some point as well, but the chances of that happening seem to be diminishing rapidly.

O ****. I wanted to see Cena Vs Taker at Wrestlemania too. Would prefer Triple H Vs Taker at Summerslam rather than Mania, but who the hell will Taker face at Mania? There is no place to go but down after HBK and HHH, especially once you rule out Cena and factor in that Orton already had his shot.

Del Rio a good shout I should have thought. Plenty of time to get someone like Ziggler or Barrett elevated to that kind of status as well, so quite a lot of options really I suppose.

Marking out HARD atm.

Pretty sure I called this as soon as Rock returned btw

Haha that is so awesome. A 12 month build up. It's great.

Sting vs. Hogan for Starrcade 97 was similar (not quite 12 months, and it wasn't so clearly announced, but we all knew it was coming) and it had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Trying to think if the WWE have done something similar in the past. I have a hunch that when Savage won the title at Mania 4, they always had the idea of Hogan beating him for it at Mania 5, but there's no way I can prove that. It's obviously a different case anyway.
Yeah you're right Jono. They whole reason they had Savage win the title was so they could do Savage-Hogan. Easier to book that far in advance when you do 4 PPVs a year and no weekly prime time show though.

It'll be 14 months in the making, that is insane! Will The Rock stay on TV all that time or will he go away and come back next year - guess all will be revealed but it is going to be one hell of a ride, either way.

Silly people it's no 12 month build up, the Dwayne is going to make his B level movies and show up 10 months, The Dwayne needs to get in shape and get off his sterioid use so he can pass the damn drug test.

The only good thing is he's going to do the Job to Cena

Raw < Tough Enough ... Stone Cold was awesome

Melina vs Alicia fox LMAO

I thought tough enough is going to be another terrible reality show. Looks like its going to have guest appearances each episode from Th Rock and other wrestlers. Different than what I imagined. And 14 episodes of Trish=WIN!:w00t:

Lance Storm is gun imo. If WCW had stayed open for another 6-8 months he would have become an awesome World Champion.

According to sources, WWE originally planned for Triple H to ride a Clydesdale horse to the ring for his match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVII.

During a test run, the horse fell through the trap door on the WrestleMania stage, with Hunter riding it. The horse was spooked and went wild. Plans for the ring entrance were immediately scrapped.
According to our source, the horse was a 'Clydesdale'. Wikipedia says "The Clydesdale is a breed of draft horse derived from the farm horses of Clydesdale, Scotland, and named after that region." Our source says Triple H couldn't guide the massive animal away from the trap door, which had a casket (this would hold The Undertaker). That would then rise to the top of the stage during the entrances. According to the source, the horse fell through the stage with Triple H riding it and crushed the casket during the rehearsal. 'Taker was not inside at the time.

The arena was immediately cleared of staff members and rehearsal was canceled. We've been told that the horse was stuck for hours and almost had to be euthanized due to the extreme stress it had suffered. WWE crew members also had to dismantle the stage so the horse could be freed.

WWE management then made the call that it was not worth the risk and plans were scrapped.
WTF, sounds like a ****ing stupid idea in the first place. Sounds like it's lucky nobody (or the horse) ended up injured or worse.

Triple H riding in on a horse? I'd pay double for that ****.

Should have ridden on horse out of his triumphant, hard-fought, well-deserved victory at 19. Do you agree Jono?
