I think you can probably guess that the style of posting in two of the posts you cited were a major reason that member got banned. So, not acceptable. Neither is the third example you cited and there was a specific warning giving out in the thread by a mod to the member in question. We'll discuss if any further action is needed.

You know what though, if you want to censure us for responding to dhoni-fan, fine. But to label it as trolling/baiting is pretty bloody wrong-headed and offensive IMO.

I asked over email to no avail so I will ask again here, please explain how my post was trolling. I read posts the next day that said the thread was 'dire' and 'full of arrogant hubristic ****'. Given I didn't name anyone, please enlighten me how my post was any different to these.

What is the policy regarding deleting posts as opposed to giving infractions for them?

Because the recent deletion of anti-Pakistan posts by Evermind and people responding to them has occurred, yet there is no evidence of an infraction.

Now surely that deserved an infraction. It was an abhorrent comment which would have been bannable in previous times.
