Whole show was gun imo. The King/Cole/JR section was fantastic, surprisingly.
Not surprising IMO. Whole storyline has been great. Cole commentating from that box, or the 'Cole Mine' was amazing. And I loved his, "you should be sacked, everyone should be sacked"

Haven't posted in this thread in ages but the lead up to Wrestlemania has been interesting. The Miz is awesome and the verbal battle between John Cena and The Rock has been great.

I'm so buying Wrestlemania 27 if Christian gets added to the Edge vs Alberto Del Rio match. Would be so deserving for a guy who's deserved his push for the longest time. Glad to see that they are finally main eventing Smackdown and the Smackdown House Shows with Christian in the main event. If anyone deserves a main event shot in the WWE after all these years it's him.

Michael Cole continues to be awesome. This whole angle with Jerry Lawler has been fantastic. I never knew Michael Cole had this much ability but he's done really well as a heel announcer and character.

As for TNA, they are a disgrace. Jeff Hardy is a disgrace. How do you think Sting's feeling now? He turned down an opportunity of a life time to main event Wrestlemania 27 against The Undertaker in front of 60,000 people. He sure looks stupid right now for turning down the WWE.

As I understand it there were some sort of informal discussions, but a solid offer was never actually tendered.

Michael Cole in hot water for calling Josh Matthews a "******" on Twitter, gather it's going to be made rather a big deal.

Nah. Instant apology, no harm done. No reason for the backlash of this to continue for more than a week or so.

The E has been warned recently about it's employees making homophobic remarks though, this is the second instance in a close space of time (the other being comments made in Cena's promo regarding the Rock a few weeks back), and I gather it's been given quite a lot of media attention over there. TMZ is all over it already. I don't believe Cole meant anything homophobic in what he said quite honestly, but it's incredibly stupid of him to think he'd get away with making that sort of remark in a way which broadcast it to the mainstream. Idiot, he is.

The whole HHH/Undertaker thing is incredibly lame IMO

As good a performer as he is, HHH has punched above his weight for years for one reason i.e. he is the son-in-law of the boss and has a role in strategy and product development

The outcome should be obvious to everyone

The outcome is obvious, everybody knows that. But it's not the end result, it's how you get there, and for my money what's been done so far has been pretty good value.

Here is a question. Not saying it will ever happen, but what do you guys think to giving The Rock a squash match to open out Wrestlemania. If you have him come out, open the show, warm up the crowd and then pose an open challenge accepted by Zach Ryder or Dibiase (both who I think are great, but really are the definition of a jobber) who The Rock squashes in a couple minutes, it could be a great start.

Absolute categorical no from me personally. Nobody who isn't a top star has any business being involved in a major segment with the Rock given the nature of his comeback, least of all at Wrestlemania of all places. Would cheapen the whole experience and serve very little purpose imo, particularly when he's already likely to be heavily involved later on in the show. Got to keep his appearances special, he's like goldust (not good old Dustin  ).
