Interesting to note the health of CD's battery of young quicks...

CD have made one change, Carl Cachopa replacing the injured Bevan Small. The leaders are also without three leading bowlers, Doug Bracewell, Mitchell McClenaghan and Adam Milne through injury.

Heard on radio this afternoon about Auckland's score - thought it was a wind-up initially. Given Otago managed 327 in their first innings effort I hardly think Auckland can consider the pitch a minefield.

Also, a shame about Jeets falling a run short of what would've been his second FC hundred.
