I guess it depends on context. You're Indian so if it offended you that's your call and I'm not going to sit here and tell you you shouldn't be. I'll leave that to the mods next time me and some of my fellow England fans feel we are being trolled and want to take offence though.

But it's a grey area really because he didn't say 'All Indian people are ****s' he specifically (IIRC) referred to the fans of the cricket team. Sure it's a generalisation and an unhelpful one but I personally don't think you can label someone racist based off such information.

TBH I don't really think there's much point to us arguing about this because my original point about him being called racist going unpunished was wrong and I've withdrawn that anyway.

But what posts in the England vs. India thread have resulted in you, Sledger and GingerFurball claiming the inconsistency then?

You guys have gone on a huge moody rampage recently. If its due to the buffoon post, I can't comment because I have no idea what happened. If its due to Migara and the overrated player thread, again I don't know what happened. But if its due to the England vs. India thread, I'd like the posts to be pointed out because the term "Indian posters" has been used COUNTLESS times. So it should be backed up with examples.

The most i could find from that India - England thread from Turbinator was just him calling the England ODI Team Rubbish and GIMH and GF getting wound up by that.

I remember them getting wound up about me calling the England team "not good" in ODI's after the first ODI of the Eng-Aus series which was a bit bizzare giving arguments about how it was only one ODI and how they had a whole a lot of players to come back and i was being a troll.LOL

Thought better off it , but probably should have gloated around when they lost the series 6-1.

Heh, the incidents you mentioned certainly contributed towards my 'moody rampage' as well as some absolutely appalling communication that I received from the moderators when I sent them my thoughts via email.

As for the Eng-Ind thread, go have a read at the general posting from your compatriots in there. It was constant trolling. I hate getting asked to link to individual posts because it was an accumulative effort by numerous posters who spent the whole thread calling us a minnow, South Africa A, **** at cricket, it was ****ing hideous. I responded to a post from Turb that was just pure trash and got a warning for my efforts (I did tell him to **** off and apparently if you say that it's automatically aggressive because I've never told a mate to **** off in casual conversation when I disagree with/am offended by them).

I think you guys had every right to find some of the Indian posters in that thread arrogant. I did, and I was disappointed. I seemed to cop the brunt-end of some England posters' anger of that arrogance because when I said both teams choked, and hence pointed out that England choked, some people just completely overreacted. Especially considering Indian and Saffie chokes (hell all teams get accused) are mentioned ad nauseum.

If you found the posts calling the England ODI team **** or minnows offensive (I wouldn't if it was said to the Indian team, I'd probably just counter it if it was a poster I respected) then couldn't you have just reported it?

And you're right mate I could have reported the posts but unfortunately I got an email from james a few days earlier telling me that the mods were sick of me reporting posts, basically. Damned either way.

Haha nah wasn't referring to you. I think some posters went at pains to make sure I knew that India were in a winning position and choked, when I 100% agree with that viewpoint!

Anyway old news now.
