I hope so, but conditions at the MCG are going to be a bit different to India/Sri Lanka/Bangladesh.

For some reason he's never really been in favour for ODI's. Strangely his ODD record isn't anywhere near as good as his FC or T20 record.

Huge fan of his though, bowling with real heat and swing at the moment

I wouldn't be surprised if sam whiteman replaces ronchi.
Arthur said 2 weeks ago he will cut 10 players.
Beer averaged 30 for his wickets when first picked he now averages 40.

Really, Can you prove this? I thought he was averaging almost 40 when he was called up.

Beer is a work in progress domestic performer, absolutely crazy that he's got a baggy green cap.

If you want to get specific, it was 39 when he was picked. So technically that's 30's ? Nevertheless its 47 now. But you're right, he's a work in progress. Certainly not the worst bowler going around but too early for a Baggygreen

Pilon's not in prime condition, and while still a good player, not the genius that he was in Sydney Grade cricket, or early days in Melbourne.

3 shield games on tomorrow looking at some of the teams it must be contract time,herrick and gilmour playing for the vics tomorrow.

Anyone following the games today?

What is going on for NSW? Currently 7/48. Luke Butterworth having a mighty season. Phil Hughes struggles again in bowler friendly conditions. He is having a real turd of a season for NSW and Australia. Probably needs a few months away from the game.

Victoria are fighting in the game at the MCG. Not a shock to see Putland with two wickets. Very overcast today in Melbourne and a good time to be a swing bowler. Hill and Carters not contributing much again. Plenty of talent between the two of them, but no real results yet. Batting hasn't stood up all season.

I'm really interested to know why Christian has captained the two games Klinger's been out for, though.

I take one look at the NSW batting lineup and cringe.

Hopefully Cummins gets a few tomorrow on debut.
