This is why you have spinners. On top you can always take rest after your spell.
Batsmen got no choice. They gotta run their every run and mentally be on top, because if their concentration fails for a slightest, it can be lethal.

I think the Egyptians would have loved bowlers. You see illustrations of the pyramids being constructed, and you only see depictions of slaves transporting huge stone bricks. The architects are never shown.

I think they were just ashamed to put their names to a design that looks suspiciously like a rip off of the Toblerone.
