Haha yeah when he was bowling for Wellington in the T20s he didn't look any faster than a lot of our trundlers who come in off little more than a stroll up to the crease.Wright looks horrible, doesn't he? Unless his mixture of long hops and legside half volleys is a cunning ruse.
His "length of run up/end output" ratio must be the lowest in international cricket too. Really comes in off a mile.
Hit a ton in the first Test he played after they split up, so I don't really think it's that. Is definitely odd though. Batting like a complete turd at the moment.Split up with his lass, hasn't he? Amidst rumours she was playing away?
Sort of thing that can get to a chap.
These so called dressing room difficulties are related to his batting form, there is talk that most blokes think he isn't good enough a player to be leading Australia, and tbh every prospective leader has to go through this acid test where you have to prove yourself to your teammates and the rest of the world. Clarke unfortunately seems to be crumbling badly under this pressure rather than rising to the occasion and proving to the world that he's ready to lead the side.Rumors of some difficulties in the dressing room could be a factor too.
Hawkeye has the path of the ball changing there, straightening. The angle was taking it down in reality. I like UDRS, but that just looks wrong, I'm afraid.Looked like an 'Umpire's Call' rather than 'Hitting' to me. Would have stood anyway though, obv.
Would his run up be longer than Rhodes? He's another who apparently has a ridiculous run up/pace ratio.Haha yeah when he was bowling for Wellington in the T20s he didn't look any faster than a lot of our trundlers who come in off little more than a stroll up to the crease.
Hussey is seen as a bloke who can come in and straight away start blasting 6s and 4s, whereas White is a bit of slow starter.Aus making mountains out of mole hills. Why does White bat above D Hussey?
