Don't understand why you lot are getting annoyed. If these two stay in for most of the innings you've won. As we saw yesterday, its losing wickets that will lose you a chase more often.

Watto is just finding the gaps with consummate ease, while Clarke is still scratching around after 40 balls.

Touble is Clarke doesn't seem to have that extra gear now days. If it's someone like White or Haddin starting slow while he gets his eye in it's one thing, but at some point the rate will need to be raised an Clarke just doesn't seem to be able to do that.

Haha two sixes. Finally someone going after Yardy.

Top edges one into no man's land now.

Yeah, but should Watson get out, Clarke isn't able to take the role of the aggressor, despite having used a ****load of balls that would've been better used to establish another batsman.

****ing Yardy is the worst cricketer to watch. So good to see his ugly **** going the distance.

Hopefully this will stop all the silly talk about England being up there with the favourites for the WC. The opening bowling without Broad and Anderson is way too horrible for that to be a realistic prospect and the middle order is over-dependant on two players to give the innings the sort of impetus that's needed at this level.
