I've posted about this before, but in all seriousness, that's where super slow-mo would come in handy. Instead of watching how the bat turns in Watto's hand when he plays a forward defensive, why not have one pointed at the crease? So many of these run outs seem to come down to one frame.
Yeah, many people I know (most of them ones who don't follow cricket) ask this. It's so bloody logical. Hence it's non-use by the ICC.

I'd say it's because to have a super slow-mo camera operating for an entire match would take an incredible amount of memory/tape and would be rather impractical till the technology improves.

The thing that makes Clarke's innings extra stupid is that Australia is likely to fall short of runs, not wickets. Just go for it ****.
Exactly. With Brett Lee coming in at 9 or 10, there's so much batting in the line up as well. Have a ****ing hit.

Still on track tbf. Would've taken 1/150 or so at the start of the innings at the 30 over mark.

In defence to Clarke he has hit basically a single every ball he's faced for a while, which is his job.

Hit that one hard.
