Rehman's looked really good from what I've seen of him this series. Properly tight and spins it.

Guptill again looking incapable of turning the strike over against Rehman. We'll be lucky to make it to lunch without losing another wicket.

Ooh, such pessimism. These two looking solid. You're right about Guptill though, just seems content to get a good stride in and drop the ball at his feet, needs to find an area where he can just tick it over.

Good recovery from NZ after McCullum's early departure and the disappointment of losing Williamson when he was looking in very good touch. But these two have knuckled down and got NZ into a reasonable lunchtime position.

On the bowling front for Pakistan, frightening to see Younis Khan coming on so early in proceedings, but that little experiment was short lived, and rightly so. I like Riaz but he really lacks the ability to bring the ball back into the right hander, something that would make him a real handful. Rehman looks like he's going to give little away, his battle with Taylor may be compelling viewing this afternoon session.

Good eight over spell from Gul, it wasn't jagging about excessively for him, after his first ball, but he's just got it to do enough. Should have the wickets of McCullum, Williamson and Guptill to his name so far.

Oh Guptill what have you done son. So so predictable. Each delivery was well outside off then he decided to have a go and got a **** house under edge. Oh he will be slutted!

Such a hard fought 29 tossed away by a loose slash from Guptill. Cannot be at all happy with himself there, gift for Pakistan and the disciplined batting John Wright hoped for sadly lacking there.
