Fair enough, but we can't possibly continue with McIntosh at the top of the order. Perhaps moving Guptill to open and push everyone else up one position. What would you do?Would like to see Franklin in the middle-order, but wouldn't want to see Ryder moved, the guy averages 50 in the middle-order, if it ain't broke.... etc etc
That's the best option and then bring Franklin in to the middle order.Fair enough, but we can't possibly continue with McIntosh at the top of the order. Perhaps moving Guptill to open and push everyone else up one position. What would you do?
Yup, we may as well open with these two (Guptill & McCullum tbh) & move Williamson up to 3. At least Guptill get reasonably quick & attractive 30s (even if he does tend to throw it away at that point ). Even when McIntosh does survive the new ball, he does absolutely nothing in advancing the game & puts no pressure on bowlers.Fair enough, but we can't possibly continue with McIntosh at the top of the order. Nah, he's not up to it on proper test wickets against decent bowlers, would obviously have him in our ODI/T20 sides thoughQuestion for the NZL fans. If available to play for NZL, would you have Yuvraj Singh in the team?
Nope. 4-6 is shaping up quite well for us at the moment.Question for the NZL fans. If available to play for NZL, would you have Yuvraj Singh in the team?

But surely he can't be worse than someone like McIntosh, considering you send Ryder up to open with McCullum and have Yuvraj bat at 5Nope. 4-6 is shaping up quite well for us at the moment.
No. We have several good middle order options. It's the top order that's open. Is Gambhir available?Question for the NZL fans. If available to play for NZL, would you have Yuvraj Singh in the team?
Hard to say, because one of New Zealand's strength is their middle order, so it's hard for him to find a spot in tests. He'd make the one-day teams obviously, but you lot still play him in that so it's irrelevant.Question for the NZL fans. If available to play for NZL, would you have Yuvraj Singh in the team?
See I used to think surely they would, but they're right in saying that their middle order is their strong point. I understand their point of view.Question for the NZL fans. If available to play for NZL, would you have Yuvraj Singh in the team?
Failing that, I'd take Murali Vijay. Hell, if Australia don't want Rogers or Jaques, I'd take them.No. We have several good middle order options. It's the top order that's open. Is Gambhir available?
We've already tried Ryder up the order and it was a failure. He averages 50 batting at 5.But surely he can't be worse than someone like McIntosh, considering you send Ryder upto open with McCullum and have Yuvraj bat at 5
