So who are the big names coming up? Murali and Ojha would be in high demand I would imagine.
Is Dave Warner going to be for auction this time round? If so, he should get some decent money since he is basically a specialist in this form of the game.

'It's understood from the franchises that Chris Gayle was available only for two weeks of the IPL in 2011 and that's why the teams didn't want to bid for him.'
West indies and English players seem a no go for that reason.

English players also have to pay double about 40 % tax in England and 15 % in India or something, plus have to reimburse their counties too.

Plus there are not certainties about their availability ,so hence the low bid for Piertesen.

I wonder what Sachin would have went for in this auction had he not been retained?

3 million certainly,it would seem.

I think he will be getting paid that in any case by Mumbai.

Not really king pin, their will be 8 sides,2/3 overseas players, but the rest of it is still being worked out.
Sponsers can buy stakes up to 49 % in a side.
More a lower form of ipl,but the standard is very high,so don't expect the ipl dropsies in the field it is famous for.

Pretty sure England players are available for the whole series, if not most of it.

Someone there are players from 11 teams in for Auction. Which non test players are there for Auction? And plus with no ****'stani players that means 2.

Indians are happy with no ****'stani players for auction. Who knows where that money ends
