*Official* - Pakistan in New Zealand 2010/2011

Pakistan's innings mirroring NZ's very closely - NZ were 99/3 and also had an opener who gave his wicket away in the fifties.

Now if only Pakistan's best batsman could be unluckily dismissed on 22 then NZ would be back in this.

soft dismissal, he was not willing to work for his runs, needed to rotate the strike.

nz keep on chipping away.

pak need to show some patience and rewards will come for sure.

They don't rate anyone on there unless they bowl 90mph (Sami has dedication threads...) or they hit "big six". Afridi and Imran Nazir would be the forums popular choice for opening combo in this test.
Would still be less brainless than the current mob....

Gutted for Timmeh, these really have been his wickets.

Reversing nicely, looks as though the kiwi's watched and learned from Gul:laugh:

I really like the look of Williamson's batting, he looks we really could have a genuine Test class batsman in the making.

Ever since I first saw Asad in the SA ODI series, I was very impressed. Far better batsman than U.Akmal.

BTW does Kane chuck it?

Looks like the match is very evenly poised right now, with Pakistan probably on target to equal NZ's score. Often hasn't been the highest quality cricket - adequate but not hugely threatening bowling and lots of soft dismissals with no batsman scoring more than 60.

If one of the few players from either side with a bit of class grabs the initiative and performs well, that team should win. Like Bond did for NZ last time Pakistan toured. A Ryder hundred would probably do it for NZ.

Vettori really is struggling out there. Does he have a virus of some sort? Either way, you can't call him soft.
